Classic Nail Polish Shades

We've been asked tons of times about what polish shades are best use for a particular occasion or season. Polish brands do have beautiful seasonal collections but if you want foolproof nails that you can use any day or season we suggest you go with the following:

Nude nowadays does not simply mean skintone, polish manufacturers have a line up of pink, white and light brown nudes. These beauties imply simplicity, understated sophistication and innocence to any wearer. They definitely make you looked polished without getting much attention. Polish Loot

When I go on vacation the first item on my agenda is to get nail polish. The selections in Manila are very limited so you'll really have to go out of your way to get the latest as well as the most classic shades. Here's part 1 of my loot.OPI's Miss Universe Collection, the pageant season is just around the corner, sure most of us don't have the svelte Miss Universe body but that doesn't mean we can't have a taste of its glitz and glamour. The collection features 4 shades: Crown Me Already! Swimsuit Nailed It! Congeniality is my Middle Name & It's My Year! We have on hand the first 3 shades, sadly the last shade was unavailable at the time I was purchasing my loot.



Swimsuit nail it is a lovely shade of blue green (think Crayola blue green, yes the local crayons we used back in grade school) with very fine glitter of the same shade. Congenialty is my Middle Name like its name suggests is a very friendly shade, never mind the snooty color on the bottle does not give justice to the real color when applied to your nails, it's like bright pink with a slight hint of wine. If there's a runaway winner in this collection it would be Crown Me Already! It's a glitter polish with a clear base, the silver glitters varying in size would definitely make your nails shine. Achieve a foil-like look when you top it over gray or silver polish. Even if you're not a big pageant fan, these colors will leave you gushing like you've won the crown.
